Ashley Wood Golf Club, established in 1896, is a downland course located in Dorset, England. Designed by Sir William Henry Smith-Marriott, it was the fifth golf club formed in Dorset. The course was originally a nine-hole layout incorporating ancient historical features like Buzbury Rings. It was extended to 18 holes and 6276 yards in 1994. Built on chalk, the course offers good drainage and is often playable year-round. It features undulating fairways and strategic bunkering, with some holes winding through ancient woodland. While not among the longest courses, the final five holes present a notable challenge. The club has a history of hosting a Junior Open which has served as a Justin Rose Daily Telegraph Qualifier.
