Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club, located on the outskirts of Troon on Scotland's west coast, is a historic links course founded in 1887. The facility boasts 27 holes, including the 18-hole Championship Barassie Links and the 9-hole Hillhouse Course. Designed by Theodore Moone, the Barassie Links is a challenging traditional links layout known for its rolling fairways, undulating greens, deep bunkers, and gorse. It has a strong reputation and has hosted numerous prestigious amateur and professional events, including Open Championship Final Qualifying. The club offers various practice facilities, including a driving range, putting green, and chipping area. Visitors are welcome to experience the challenging links golf offered here.
