Worfield Golf Club
Parkland Course in Bridgnorth, England
Nestled in the Shropshire countryside on the former Wyken Estate, Worfield Golf Club offers an 18-hole parkland course that opened in 1991. Designed by directors Trevor Williams and David Gough, with assistance from Ray Baldwin, the course was laid out with minimal earth movement, focusing on the natural undulations of the land. The course features mature trees and strategically placed water hazards, providing a test for golfers of various abilities. The club has a practice area, putting green, chipping and bunker area, and a pitching green, alongside a driving range. Visitors are welcome daily, though weekend and bank holiday access is typically after 1 pm. A handicap certificate or CDI number may be required. Worfield has hosted notable events, including the English Senior Championship and the English Golfing Union National Junior Championship in 2012.
