Patshull Park Hotel Golf & Country Club (Patshull Park)

Nestled within 250 acres of picturesque parkland on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border, Patshull Park offers a tranquil golfing escape. The estate's history dates back to a 13th Century manor, with the current Patshull Hall designed by James Gibbs in the 1730s and the parkland famously landscaped by Capability Brown in the late 18th century, incorporating a large serpentine lake. A golf course was later added to the central part of the parkland in the 20th century, with a classical temple conceived by Capability Brown converted into the clubhouse. The 18-hole, par 72 parkland course was designed by John Jacobs and features tree-lined fairways and large lakes. While not a regular host of major professional events, Patshull Park has previously hosted the Grand Final of the Golf Foundation Weetabix Age Group Championships in 2000, an event previously won by notable English golfers such as Lee Westwood and Justin Rose.
