Torquay Golf Club, situated in the English Riviera, is a historic parkland course founded in 1909. The club has evolved over the years, with input from notable figures in golf history. James Braid is credited with enhancements to the layout. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable test for golfers of all abilities, with tree-lined fairways and quality greens. From the course, players can enjoy extensive views encompassing Lyme Bay and the Dartmoor tors. The club has a rich history, including Nick Faldo receiving his first winner's cheque here as a young professional. While not a current Open Qualifying location, the club has hosted amateur open events.
