Bigbury Golf Club, perched on the South Devon coast, offers a golfing experience steeped in history, dating back to its founding in 1923. Initially conceived as a nine-hole layout on land provided by Cdr Charles Evans, the course was later expanded to 18 holes with involvement from the renowned architect John Henry Taylor and Frederick Hawtree. The course is characterised as a cliff-top layout, providing golfers with expansive views of the coastline and the challenging influence of sea breezes. While a notable club in its region, Bigbury Golf Club has not served as a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
