Thurlestone Golf Club, established in 1897, is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Devon, England. The course, originally nine holes designed by Charles Gibson, was later extended and modified by Harry Colt, and further redesigned by Hawtree & Sons in the 1960s and 70s, opening in its current form in 1972. It offers a mix of links and cliff-top terrain along the coastline of Bigbury Bay, providing views of Thurlestone Rock, the Avon Estuary, and Burgh Island. While not overly severe with generous fairways, the course can be challenging, particularly when the wind is a factor. The course has previously hosted Open Qualifying events.
