Silvermere Golf & Leisure (Silvermere)

Silvermere Golf Club, situated in Surrey, England, offers a golfing experience set amongst mature woodlands and around the notable Silvermere Lake. The course, designed by Neil Coles and Brian Huggett, opened in 1976, initially as a 9-hole layout before expanding to 18 holes by 1979. The course is known for its tree-lined fairways and water hazards, particularly on the closing holes which play over the historic lake. Notably, Silvermere has previously been used as a European Tour Qualifying venue. The property also has a unique historical connection, as Silvermere Lake was used by Barnes Wallis for testing prototypes of the Bouncing Bomb during World War II.
