Sheringham Golf Club

Sheringham Golf Club, established in 1891, is a captivating clifftop links course located on the North Norfolk coast of England. Designed by Tom Dunn, the original nine holes were later extended to eighteen in 1898. The course is known for its challenging par 70 layout, particularly the demanding par 4s, and the ever-present wind off the North Sea. The layout is uniquely framed by the coastline on one side and the preserved North Norfolk Railway on the other, with steam trains occasionally adding a distinctive element to the round. Sheringham has a history of hosting significant amateur events, including the English Ladies' Golf Championships on three occasions. While not an Open Qualifying venue, it is recognized among the Top 100 Courses in England and offers a memorable golfing experience with stunning views and a traditional clubhouse atmosphere.
