Pype Hayes Golf Club

Pype Hayes Golf Club, established in 1933, is a mature parkland course located in Birmingham, England. Owned by the City of Birmingham and operated by Mytime Golf, the course features subtly curved fairways lined with gorse and broad-leafed trees, contoured greens, and numerous deeply sanded bunkers. While the opening holes may appear straightforward, the course is known to improve as the round progresses, with slopes influencing play on several holes. Notably, the course largely lacks water hazards, with the main challenges stemming from the tree-lined fairways and well-placed bunkers. Pype Hayes is considered a forgiving and easily walkable course. The club has benefited from significant investment, including a new clubhouse opened in 2013, which replaced a previous structure lost to fire. The course was not found to have been an Open Qualifying location.
