Nestled on the Hampshire/Dorset border, Moors Valley offers an enjoyable round for golfers of varying abilities. Designed by Hawtree & Son and opened in 1988, the 18-hole, par 72 layout winds through a mature heathland/woodland landscape, forming part of the Moors Valley Country Park and Forest. The course follows the valley of the Moors River, presenting a tranquil setting. Its character is defined by gently undulating fairways, strategic bunkers, and occasional water hazards, requiring a thoughtful approach to navigate effectively. While not a traditional championship venue and with no history of hosting Open Championship qualifying, Moors Valley provides a pleasant and accessible golfing experience within a scenic conservation area.
