Lydd Golf Club, situated on the Romney Marsh in Kent, England, offers a golfing experience that blends links-style play with numerous water hazards. Established in 1993, the club's 18-hole, par 71 course was designed by Mike Smith, who expanded it from an initial nine holes a year after its opening in 1994. The course is known for its flat terrain, which makes for an easy walk, but the strategic placement of water on 11 of the 18 holes, coupled with the coastal winds, provides a notable challenge for golfers of all levels. While not a traditional Open Championship venue, Lydd has hosted professional and county matches, as well as the British Boys Championship Plate. The club also features a six-hole par 3 academy course, a floodlit driving range, and other practice facilities.
