Knole Park Golf Club, established in 1924 within the historic Knole Estate in Sevenoaks, Kent, offers a distinctive parkland golfing experience. The course, primarily designed by Abercromby, J.F. (John Frederick), with later alterations by Tom Simpson and lengthening in the 1960s, is set within 1000 acres of undulating terrain, home to a herd of deer. Known for its strategic bunkering and clever use of natural slopes, the par 70 course measures 6,669 yards from the Black tees. Abercromby's design philosophy, which included starting with a par-3, is evident here, with the first hole being a challenging nearly 200-yard uphill par-3. The course is recognized as a top inland course in Kent and has been ranked among the top 100 courses in England. While not a regular Open Championship qualifying venue, a player from Knole Park Golf Club did participate in a Regional Qualifying event at Wildernesse Golf Club in 2019, and another in a Local Final Qualifying competition at St Annes Old Links in 2012. The club has hosted other notable events, including the British Senior Amateur, English Girls' Championship, and the Tillman Trophy.
