Huyton & Prescot Golf Club

Huyton & Prescot Golf Club, established in 1905, is a mature parkland course located in Merseyside, England. Originally laid out under the guidance of James Braid on the former Hurst Park Estate, the course features tree-lined fairways and undulating greens that demand strategic play. While not notably long, it is considered a good test of golf in the North West. The club has a history rooted in the local community, evolving from the Atherton family estate. The course has seen significant drainage improvements and tree clearance over the years to enhance playability. Although not a regular Open Championship venue, amateurs and professionals from Huyton & Prescot have participated in Open Qualifying events.
