Hollingbury Park Golf Club
Downland Course in Brighton, England
Perched on the South Downs with panoramic views of Brighton and the English Channel, Hollingbury Park Golf Club offers a public, rolling downland test established in 1908. Originally a nine-hole layout, it was extended to 18 holes by 1910 and further lengthened and remodelled by Hawtree & Taylor in 1938 to championship length. The course has a history of hosting significant events, including a qualifying event for the Ryder Cup and The Open Championship in previous years. The par-72 course features wide fairways and can be a good test for golfers, with an Iron Age Hill Fort located within the course providing a unique historical backdrop.
