Hartsbourne Country Club, located in Bushey Heath, England, is home to 27 holes of golf, with the principal layout being the 18-hole Willows course. Designed by the notable partnership of F.G. Hawtree and five-time Open Champion John Henry Taylor, the Willows course dates back to 1922. Set within 180 acres of mature parkland, the course features mildly undulating, tree-lined fairways and well-placed bunkers. The par-4 3rd hole is a notable challenge, doglegging severely left and playing uphill to a significantly sloping green. The course also boasts back-to-back par-3s on the back nine, with the 15th being considered a signature hole, featuring a two-tiered green surrounded by eight bunkers. Hartsbourne has a history of hosting professional events, including the Gor-Ray Cup, a PGA Assistants' Championship, from 1951 to 1966, which saw victories from players like Peter Alliss and Tony Jacklin. While not a current Open Qualifying location, its history includes hosting significant professional tournaments.
