Perched on the beautiful South Downs with panoramic views of the English Channel and Beachy Head, Eastbourne Downs Golf Club offers a classic downland golfing experience in East Sussex, England. Established in 1908, the course was originally laid out by five-time Open Champion John Henry Taylor. While the clubhouse moved to its current elevated position in 1973 with subsequent course alterations, elements of Taylor's original design from 1908 are still in play on some of the greens. The course, known for its fast-running fairways and challenging lies depending on the season, provides a stern test for golfers of all abilities. It has previously hosted the Amateur Open and the EGU National Amateur Championship.
