Wenvoe Castle Golf Club, established in 1936 and set in the historic grounds of Wenvoe Castle in Wales, offers a parkland layout originally conceived by five-time Open Champion James Braid and later refined by Charles Kenneth Cotton. The course presents two distinct nines: the outward half features undulating terrain with significant tree presence and elevation changes, while the inward half is flatter with wider fairways, though still demanding due to strategic bunkering and tree planting. While not an Open Championship Qualifying venue, the club has hosted notable events such as the Welsh Ladies Team Championship and the Welsh Open Youth Championships, alongside regular amateur open competitions. The course measures around 6,500 yards from the back tees, playing to a par of 72, providing a varied and engaging test of golf in a picturesque setting overlooked by the Grade II listed clubhouse.
