Nestled within 400 acres of historic parkland in the Vale of Glamorgan, just a short drive from Cardiff, lies Cottrell Park Golf Resort, home to the Button Gwinnett course. Opened in 1996 as part of a 36-hole complex, the Button Gwinnett, designed by Robert Sandow, presents a distinct challenge compared to its sister course. With an American-inspired layout, water features are a prominent characteristic, influencing play on many of its eighteen holes. The course is known for placing a premium on accuracy, often described as tricky yet enjoyable. While offering stunning views stretching towards the Brecon Beacons and across the Bristol Channel, the Button Gwinnett provides an engaging test for golfers of varying abilities.
