Dewstow Golf Club (Valley)

Dewstow Golf Club, located in Caerwent, Monmouthshire, Wales, featured two 18-hole courses, the Valley and the Park. The Valley Course, opened in 1988, was designed using the natural contours of the meadowland and included mature trees supplemented by thousands of new trees. It was an easy walking course with water hazards and wildlife, offering views of the River Severn and the two Severn bridges. The club was known for its parkland and woodland terrain, rolling fairways, water hazards, and well-guarded greens. Prior to its closure in 2017 due to financial pressures, Dewstow was a popular venue for corporate and society events, weddings, conferences, and training days, welcoming non-golfing visitors as well. It was accessible from Newport and Cardiff and situated near landmarks like Dewstow Gardens and Grottoes.
