The Montgomerie Course at Celtic Manor Resort is a parkland course located in Newport, Wales. Designed by Colin Montgomerie and opened in 2007, it is a par-69 course with a length of 6294 yards from the white tees and 5863 from the yellow tees. The course has a traditional feel with deep pot bunkers and incorporates land from the former Coldra Woods academy course and the opening and closing holes of the old Wentwood Hills course. It offers dramatic tee shots over valleys, breathtaking downhill shots, and spectacular views of the Usk Valley and Severn Estuary. The resort offers various facilities including restaurants, health clubs, a spa, and lodging options. The Montgomerie Course has hosted professional and high-ranking amateur events, including the EuroPro Tour.
