West Linton Golf Club

West Linton Golf Club is a moorland course located in West Linton, Peeblesshire, Scotland, offering views of the Scottish Borders countryside, Mendick Hill, and the Pentland Hills. Originally a 9-hole course established in 1890 by Robert Millar, it was extended to 18 holes in 1972/1974, with improvements advised by renowned architect James Braid in 1926. The course is known for its challenging layout despite a par of 69 (for the main men's tee), featuring interesting holes and abundant wildlife such as red grouse, hares, owls, and curlews. It is recognized as one of the finest courses in the area and is part of the James Braid Golf Trail. Visitors are welcome daily, and various membership options are available. The club offers a range of facilities including practice areas, a pro shop, and catering.
