Torphin Hill Golf Club
Heathland Course in Edinburgh, Scotland
Torphin Hill Golf Club, located near Edinburgh in Scotland, was established in 1895 with original design by Annie Ross and later extended by James Braid in 1924. Situated on the slopes of the Pentland Hills, the course offered scenic views of Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth. It was an 18-hole heathland course, approximately 5285 yards in length with a par around 67. The club closed in January 2014. Visitors were welcome, and the club also participated in reciprocal arrangements with other clubs founded in 1895.
