Broomieknowe Golf Club, established in 1905 and located in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, Scotland, is a mature parkland course known for its well-manicured, tree-lined fairways and high-quality greens. The original 18-hole course was designed by Ben Sayers, with significant remodelling and extensions later undertaken by James Braid in 1933 and Martin Hawtree in 1992 after the construction of the A7 bypass. The course measures 6,172 yards from the back tees with a par of 70, featuring one par five, three par threes, and several challenging par fours. Its fast-draining sub-soil ensures it remains open even when other local courses are waterlogged. The course offers scenic views of the surrounding countryside, including the Pentland Hills and potentially views stretching to Northern Ireland on a clear day. Facilities include a clubhouse with a restaurant, pro shop, putting green, changing facilities, and options for buggy and trolley hire, as well as golf tuition. The club welcomes visitors and offers online booking.
