The Glen Golf Club, also known as the East Links, is a historic 18-hole links and headland course located in North Berwick, East Lothian, Scotland. Golf has been played on the East Links since the 17th century, with a nine-hole course established in 1894. It was extended to its current 18 holes in 1906 by architects James Braid and Ben Sayers. Situated on a cliff top, the course offers spectacular panoramic views of the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock. It is considered a challenging yet fair course suitable for players of all abilities and is playable year-round. Notable holes include the dramatic par-3 13th, known as the 'Sea Hole', and the par-4 12th, the longest par 4 on the course. The club hosts a regular calendar of amateur competitions. The clubhouse, which opened in 2006, provides a range of facilities for members and visitors, including dining areas with sea views, locker rooms, showers, and a pro shop. The club offers various membership options, including 7-day, 5-day, overseas, country, junior, non-playing, temporary, and affiliated memberships.
