Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club, located in Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland, is the 26th oldest golf club in the world, dating back to 1851. It was founded as The Prestwick Mechanics Club, with Old Tom Morris as a member, and moved to its current site in 1892. The course, a traditional Scottish links, was laid out by John Allan and Charlie Hunter. It is situated on the shores of the Firth of Clyde, offering stunning views of the Ayrshire coast, the Isle of Arran, and Ailsa Craig. The par 69 course measures just over 6,000 yards and features deep bunkers, running fairways, undulating greens, and gorse, testing golfers of all abilities. Notable holes include the short par four 3rd and 15th, a blind approach on the 6th, and the challenging par three 18th. The sandy soil allows for year-round play. The club offers facilities such as a pro shop, changing rooms, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker, pull cart, golf club rental, club fitting, golf lessons, restaurant, and lockers.
