Merchants of Edinburgh Golf Club, founded in 1907, is a traditional, inland parkland course located in Edinburgh, Scotland. Originally designed by Ben Sayers and altered by James Braid in 1936, the 18-hole course is set on two hills and meanders through the valley, offering undulating terrain. Although not exceptionally long at under 5,000 yards, it is considered a test of golfing ability with challenging holes, including the signature 13th hole, 'Tap o' the World'. The course boasts splendid views of Edinburgh, the Pentland Hills, East Lothian, West Lothian, and Fife. Visitors are welcome daily, subject to tee time availability. The club features a modern clubhouse rebuilt in 2001 with first-class facilities.
