Woolston Manor Golf and Country Club, situated in Chigwell, Essex, offers a parkland course that was designed by Neil Coles MBE and David Williams, opening in the spring of 1994. The course incorporates the natural features of the surrounding Essex countryside, with the River Roding meandering throughout the layout and water coming into play on numerous holes. Built to USPGA specifications, the course features generous teeing grounds, dramatic bunker shapes, and is known for being presented in excellent condition. It has hosted regional order of merit events and Pro-Ams, and has been described by Gary Player as one of the best young courses he had ever played. While not a perennial host, the club has held significant amateur events, such as the final of the Essex Leslie Wood Trophy and the PGA East Region Assistants Championship.
