Fairlop Waters Golf Club, situated in Ilford, England, is a municipal golf facility established in 1968. The club features an 18-hole parkland course designed by John Jacobs, known for its challenging layout with tight fairways, strategic bunkers, and water hazards. The course, measuring 6,281 yards from the white tees with a par of 72, was constructed on land that was previously a sand and gravel quarry and, before that, part of Fairlop Plain, which served as an airfield during both World Wars. While the course is not among the UK's top-ranked, it offers a rewarding experience with notable holes that demand precision. Fairlop Waters has also previously served as a regional qualifying venue for The Open Championship.
