Established in 1906, Walmersley Golf Club is set on the hills above Bury, offering a moorland test with impressive views across the surrounding Lancashire countryside. The course evolved from its original nine holes, becoming an eighteen-hole layout in 1995, with further changes made in 2009. Playing to a par of 71 from the white tees, the course presents an interesting challenge, with its character shaped by the upland landscape. The club provides a welcoming atmosphere and standard facilities for visitors.
