Tiverton Golf Club

Tiverton Golf Club, established in 1932 through the generosity of Sir John Amory, occupies a classic parkland setting in Devon, England. The course was designed by James Braid, an architect whose influence is seen at notable venues like Gleneagles and Carnoustie. Playing across rolling terrain, the layout features tree-lined fairways demanding accuracy and greens that are typically well-presented. The course has undergone recent enhancements, including the introduction of a signature par-3 hole and a remodelled par-5, adding contemporary challenges to Braid's original design. While the club itself has not hosted Open Championship Qualifying, players from Tiverton Golf Club have featured in the regional and final qualifying events in recent years. The course provides a good test of golf amidst the attractive Devon countryside.
