Axe Cliff Golf and Country Club (Axe Cliff)

Axe Cliff Golf Club, situated on the Jurassic Coast in Seaton, Devon, England, is a historic course with a captivating layout and stunning coastal views. Founded in 1894, the club benefited from the expertise of renowned architect James Braid, who was invited in 1905 to extend the course and oversee its development. The 18-hole, par 70 course measures around 5,913 to 5,969 yards from the back tees and is known for its undulating fairways and challenging holes, some of which are played alongside the cliff edge. The course is also notable for the South West Coast Path running through it. While the initial holes can be quite a walk, the terrain levels out later in the round, offering a mix of short and tricky holes alongside longer, more scenic ones.
