The Players Club (Codrington)

Parkland/Links Course in Bristol, England

Nestled on the outskirts of Bristol, The Players Club is a dedicated golf facility featuring three courses, with the Codrington being the premier offering. Designed by Adrian Stiff and opened in 2002, the Codrington course presents a challenging test with a modern-links feel, incorporating numerous bunkers and lakes. Built to USGA standards, the greens are known for their contours and undulations. The course has been recognized for its quality, having been ranked by Golf World shortly after opening. Notably, The Players Club (Codrington Course) has served as a venue for Stage 1 of the DP World Tour Qualifying School, highlighting its demanding nature and suitability for professional play. The course has also hosted numerous other professional and amateur events, including Europro events, West Region PGA Championships, and English over 48s Championships.
