Clevedon Golf Club

Nestled in Somerset, England, Clevedon Golf Club boasts a rich history dating back to its founding in 1891, with golf played on the current site since 1898. The original 18-hole course was the work of five-time Open champion John Henry Taylor. While largely unchanged for much of the 20th century, the course underwent significant alterations in the early 1990s, increasing its length by over 1,000 yards and rebuilding the greens to modern specifications. This parkland course is known for its memorable holes and stunning views over the Bristol Channel towards South Wales and the Mendip Hills. Notably, the 8th hole features a tee positioned 200 feet above the fairway, offering panoramic vistas. The club has been a host venue for England Golf Championships and the PGA EuroPro tour.
