Nestled in the picturesque Bedfordshire countryside, The Millbrook Golf Club presents a golfing experience shaped by its relatively modern origins. Established in 1977 with a design by Will Sutherland, the course officially opened for member play in 1980. Thirteen of its eighteen holes are framed by indigenous pine and silver birch, while the remaining five are defined by gorse and fescue grasses. A notable characteristic is the presence of 'links style' pot bunkers, complementing the sandy, free-draining soil of the Greensand Ridge on which the course sits. This provides a blend of links and heathland characteristics, contributing to year-round playability. The course is known for its challenging layout, including a stern test at the par-four 13th with its severe dogleg and uphill approach. The club became member-owned in 2002, allowing for reinvestment in both the course and facilities. The Millbrook has been recognised for its quality, having hosted the Bedfordshire County Championship and County Matches.
