Bedfordshire Golf Club (Stagsden)
Parkland Course in Bedford, England
Bedfordshire Golf Club, established in 1891, holds the distinction of being the oldest golf club in the county. Originally a 9-hole course near Bedford, it moved to Biddenham in 1895, expanding to 18 holes. After over a century at Biddenham, a move to its current location in Stagsden was necessitated by development, with the new course opening in 2000. The current 18-hole 'Stagsden' Championship course was designed by Cameron Sinclair and officially opened by Dame Laura Davies. The layout utilizes the natural topography, with water featuring on the 14th and 15th holes.
