Teignmouth Golf Club
Moorland Links Course in Teignmouth, England
Teignmouth Golf Club, established in 1924 and designed by the renowned Dr. Alister MacKenzie, offers an 18-hole moorland links experience perched 800 feet above sea level in South Devon. The course, a par 69 from the white tees, is known for its strategic design, including six par threes and 11 two-tiered greens, characteristic of MacKenzie's work. While not among the most famous courses in the UK, it provides a good test of golf with notable elevation changes and views of the coastline and Dartmoor. The club celebrated its centenary in 2024 and has recently hosted the England Golf Boys County Championship Finals.
