Swinley Forest Golf Club, established in 1909 and opening in 1910, is a private members' club located near Ascot, England. Designed by the renowned Harry Colt, who reportedly called it his "least bad course," Swinley Forest is set on undulating heathland with heather, pine woods, azaleas, and rhododendrons framing the holes. The course layout, largely true to Colt's original vision, emphasizes strategy and shot placement. It's an 18-hole course with a par of 69, featuring two par 5s, eleven par 4s, and five par 3s. While not long by modern standards, measuring around 6,431 yards from the back tees, the course plays deceptively longer due to its undulating greens and challenging design.
