St. Enodoc Golf Club's Church Course is a revered links experience on the north Cornish coast, established in 1890 with significant design contributions from James Braid. The course is routed through dramatic sand dunes and offers stunning views of the Camel Estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. Known for its undulating fairways, challenging lies, and tricky greens, the Church Course presents a stern test of golf. A notable feature is the colossal 'Himalaya' bunker on the 6th hole, and the course is also famous for the nearly 1,000-year-old church situated beside the 10th hole, where the poet Sir John Betjeman is buried. St Enodoc's Church Course has a history of hosting prestigious amateur events and has been used as a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
