Bowood Park Hotel & Golf Club (Bowood Park)
Parkland Course in Camelford, England
Bowood Park Hotel and Golf Club is situated in North Cornwall, set within 230 acres of parkland that was once a 13th-century deer park. The course, a par 72, was designed by Robert Sandow and laid out by Bob Knott in collaboration with Brian Huggett, with agronomy advice from Eddie Connaughton. It opened in 1992 and features USGA specification greens, ensuring good year-round playability. The layout includes rolling hills on the front nine and meanders through the River Allen valley on the back nine, with over two dozen water hazards in play. The course measures around 6,700 yards from the back tees. While not a well-known Open Qualifying location, Bowood Park has hosted other events, such as the Cornish Closed Championship.
