Spalding Golf Club
Parkland Course in Spalding, England
Spalding Golf Club, established in 1907 as Surfleet Golf Club, is a mature 18-hole parkland course located in Lincolnshire, England. The club changed its name in 1926 and the current parkland layout, which is significantly different from the original course used for summer grazing, came into play in the early 1970s after the club acquired more land. A redesign was completed in 1993. The course is a par 72, measuring over 6400 yards from the white tees. Accuracy is key due to tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, with water featuring on several holes, including the River Glen. Spalding Golf Club has hosted County Union events and the English Golf Union Junior Champion Club Tournament in the past.
