Southampton City Golf Course, originally known as Southampton Municipal Golf Course, is a historic public golf facility in England. Designed by five-time Open Champion John Henry Taylor and completed in 1935, the course was initially hailed as one of the best municipal courses in England. It is set within a mature parkland and conservation area. The facility offers a main 18-hole course and a 9-hole course. The 18-hole course plays to a par of 70 and measures 6,174 yards. While it may not be a championship venue in the modern sense, its heritage and accessibility have made it a popular choice for local golfers for decades.
