Romsey Golf Club, nestled on the edge of Southampton in Hampshire, England, offers a parkland golfing experience with a touch of woodland charm. Established in 1900, the club moved to its current location in 1924, initially featuring a nine-hole layout designed by George Kirby. The course was later extended to 18 holes in 1974, and while not exceptionally long, its undulating terrain, tree-lined fairways, and strategically placed bunkers emphasize accuracy over power. The course meanders through mature wooded parkland, providing a picturesque setting that changes with the seasons. Romsey is known for its friendly atmosphere and provides a test of golf for players of all abilities. It hosts various open events throughout the year, but does not appear to have been a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
