Shirley Golf Club, founded in 1955, is a parkland course located in the West Midlands, set on the former site of a horse-racing track. The club was established under unique circumstances by members of the Jewish faith who had experienced discrimination at other clubs, with a founding principle of welcoming all golfers without prejudice. The 18-hole course, designed by John Morrison, measures approximately 6,486 yards from the back tees. The layout features tree-lined fairways and incorporates water hazards, particularly on the front nine. While not consistently ranked among the top courses in the UK, it is regarded as one of the better courses in the Midlands and has hosted England Golf championship events and the Midlands Open in 2024. The course has a par of 72.
