Seacroft Golf Club ( Golf Club Course)

Seacroft Golf Club is a traditional links course situated on the Lincolnshire coast in England. Founded in 1895, the club acquired land to the south in 1900, and Willie Fernie, an Open Champion, was commissioned to design the 18-hole layout that largely remains today. While modifications were made by Guy Campbell (Sir Guy Campbell) later, nine of Fernie's original holes are still in play. The course, an out-and-back design, is set on a narrow strip of land adjacent to the Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve, offering views of the North Sea. Known for its fast-draining soil, Seacroft is often playable year-round on normal tees and greens. It's considered a hidden gem and has received positive rankings, including being listed in the top 100 courses in England and noted for its value. The course requires accurate driving, particularly on the front nine, with Drummond Road running along the right side. Seacroft has a history of hosting notable amateur competitions, including the English County Finals and English Ladies Close Golf Championships, and has also been involved in the regional Open Qualifying process.
