Saddleworth Golf Club, established in 1904, is set in the picturesque Pennine foothills in England. Dr Alister MacKenzie, the renowned architect, laid out the 18-hole course in 1913. It offers a mix of parkland and moorland characteristics, demanding accuracy rather than brute force. While not among the UK's most famous championship venues, its elevated position provides golfers with expansive views across the surrounding countryside. The course presents a fair challenge, and the club provides a welcoming atmosphere.
