Established in 1913 in the foothills of the Pennines, Ashton-under-Lyne Golf Club offers a mature parkland layout easily accessible from Manchester. The course is known for its gently undulating terrain, framed by tree-lined fairways, and provides enjoyable views of the surrounding countryside, including glimpses of Hartshead Pike. Over the years, the course has seen improvements to its length, bunkering, and greens, which are often noted for their quality. While a popular local club, it has not historically been a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
