Rockliffe Hall Golf Club, located in County Durham, England, is a modern championship course set within a luxurious resort estate. Opened in 2009 and designed by Hawtree, it is renowned as one of the longest and most challenging inland courses in Europe, stretching to nearly 7,900 yards from the tips. The course features a parkland style with distinctive holes, making strategic play essential. Water hazards and extensive bunkering are prevalent, notably on the par-3 fifth hole which features an island green reminiscent of TPC Sawgrass. The layout is designed to offer a stern test for skilled players while multiple tee positions provide options for golfers of all abilities. Rockliffe Hall has hosted professional events, including the European Legends Tour and has also served as a venue for Final Qualifying for The Open Championship.
