Nestled in the picturesque North Yorkshire countryside, Bedale Golf Club offers a classic parkland test with a history dating back to 1894. Originally set within an 18th-century deer park, the course features wide, tree-lined fairways that frame views of the distant Wensleydale Hills. While generally easy to walk, the layout provides a thoughtful challenge, with water influencing play on several holes and a prevailing breeze often adding to the strategic demands. The course was significantly updated in 1987 under the guidance of Frederick Hawtree, extending its length and incorporating new land into the design golfers play today. It's a welcoming club offering an enjoyable round in a tranquil setting.
