About Prudhoe Golf Club
Established in 1930, Prudhoe Golf Club is set in the rolling countryside of Northumberland, England, offering views of the Tyne Valley. The club didn't begin at its current Eastwood Park location, initially playing on land owned by the local Colliery Farm for the first four years before moving in 1934 to land leased from the Duke of Northumberland. The course itself is primarily parkland with some woodland characteristics, known for its tight fairways, strategic bunkers, and quick greens, presenting a test for golfers of varying abilities. Notably, the par-4 7th hole plays alongside the River Tyne. While the course has hosted local tournaments throughout its history, there is no information to suggest it has been a venue for Open Qualifying.
